This event, part of the #ErasmusDays2024 celebrations and funded by the European Union, served as a platform to highlight the work of ECOCredGT and raise awareness among employers about the importance and emerging trends in digital credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, Lic. Eduardo V\u00e9liz from Fundaci\u00f3n Kinal discussed Kinal&#8217;s role as a Vocational Education Center, emphasizing its focus on developing key competencies for employability in Guatemala. Dr. H\u00e9ctor Amado from Universidad Galileo presented the objectives and activities of the ECOCredGT project, whose main goal is <strong>\u00abto build capacity within Vocational Education and Training Institutions (VET) to foster a Digital Credentialing ecosystem that positively impacts employability.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presenting ECOCredGT in this strategic forum was an opportunity to raise visibility for the project, showcase its progress, and sensitize attendees to the value of digital credentials in today\u2019s labor market.
