Prof. Carlos Delgado Kloos and Dr. Carlos Alario-Hoyos, partners of the ECOCredGT project, together with Pedro Manuel Moreno Marcos, Pedro J. Muñoz Merino, and Iria Estévez Ayres, received the Best Paper Award at the Learning Analytics Summer Institute Spain 2026 (LASI Spain 2026).
The award recognized their scientific contribution, “Analysis of Bias in Student Modelling and Prediction Using Learning Analytics on edX MOOC Data,” which examines bias in student modeling and prediction using learning analytics derived from Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) data.
This recognition highlights the contribution of ECOCredGT project partners to advancing research in learning analytics and educational innovation, reinforcing the development of evidence-based approaches to improve teaching and learning processes in higher education.
