As part of the project’s working agenda in Spain, the ECOCredGT project coordination meeting was held at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, the coordinating institution of the project consortium.

During the meeting, the project partners presented the progress achieved across the different work packages, reviewing the overall status of the project, compliance with the implementation schedule, and the planning of activities for the second half of the year. The session also provided an opportunity to assess progress in training, technical implementation, communication, sustainability, and quality assurance activities carried out by the participating institutions.
One of the main topics discussed was the progress of the following project deliverables:
- D5.1 – Report on the Implementation of the Digital Credential Issuing Centers Model, which documents the implementation of the pilot projects carried out in Guatemala and presents operational models for issuing digital credentials in education and vocational training institutions.
- D6.1 – General Recommendations for the Implementation of the Digital Credential Issuing Centers Model in Vocational Education and Training Institutions (VETIs), which compiles the main technical, organizational, and strategic recommendations to support the sustainable adoption of these models and promote their replication across other Latin American countries.

The joint review of these deliverables enabled European and Latin American partners to provide feedback, validate the progress achieved, and define the actions required to strengthen the project’s sustainability and maximize its impact during the final implementation phase.
