Prof. Carlos Delgado Kloos and Dr. Carlos Alario-Hoyos from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, together with Dr. Héctor Amado from Universidad Galileo and Dr. Alexander Nussbaumer from Graz University of Technology, conducted a series of specialized workshops on digital credentials as part of the ECOCredGT project.

The training sessions were held on November 17 and 20, 2025, at Universidad Galileo in Guatemala City, with the participation of faculty members, academic staff, and representatives of institutions involved in education and vocational training.

The program featured sessions aimed at strengthening institutional capacities, including:
- Introduction to digital credentials in education
- Fundamental concepts and technological aspects
- Technical implementation of digital credentials
- Hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and discussion spaces

These activities form part of ECOCredGT’s commitment to creating a digital credentials ecosystem that promotes digital transformation, skills recognition, and employability in the region.
