ECOCredGT Project Partners Receive the Best Paper Award at IEEE DEMOcon 2025

On October 7, the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, partner of the EcoCredGT project, received the prestigious Best Paper Award during the international IEEE Digital Education & MOOCs Conference (DEMOcon 2025), held from October 5 to 7, 2025, in Boca Raton, Florida, United States.

The recognition was awarded to the paper titled “Enhancing Microcredential Design through Agentic Artificial Intelligence,” led by Rebiha Kemcha, with co-authorship by Carlos Alario-Hoyos and Carlos Delgado Kloos. The work stands out for its contribution to the advanced design of digital micro-credentials through the use of agentic artificial intelligence, aimed at improving personalization, traceability, and verification of learning.
