Dr. Carlos Alario-Hoyos at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and partner of the EcoCredGT Project, participated in the Latin American Congress on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (LatinSoTL 2025), held from October 1 to 3, 2025, in San José, Costa Rica.
Dr. Alario-Hoyos presented the paper “Integration of Generative AI Chatbots in Higher Education: Results from a Pilot in Systems Programming,” co-authored with C. Prestes Machado, R. Delgado Kloos, C. Kemcha, R. Estévez-Ayres, and I. Callejo.
This participation reinforces EcoCredGT’s commitment to the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into teaching and learning processes, aligning with its goal of strengthening institutional capacities and promoting educational innovation through the use of emerging technologies.
With this contribution, the project continues to position itself as a leading reference in the academic discussion on digital micro-credentials, teaching competencies, and digital transformation in higher education across Latin America.
