Dr. Carlos Alario Hoyos, Deputy Director of the UNESCO Chair of Scalable Digital Education for All at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and partner of the EcoCredGT Project, will participate in REDUC@TE 2025, a virtual event organized by the Colombian Association of Informatics, Systems, and Related Technologies (ASIC), to be held from October 6 to 11, 2025.
Representing EcoCredGT, Dr. Alario will deliver the presentation “Impact of the Implementation of Generative AI in Education” on October 8, 2025, contributing to the ongoing discussion on how emerging technologies are transforming teaching and learning processes.
Participation in REDUC@TE 2025 strengthens EcoCredGT’s mission of promoting digital transformation and the development of digital micro-credentials in higher education and vocational training institutions. By sharing knowledge and experiences on the educational use of generative artificial intelligence, the project moves forward in its goal of enhancing teaching competencies, fostering educational innovation, and supporting employability in Latin America.
