Carlos Delgado Kloos and Carlos Alario-Hoyos participated in the Microcredentials Training Sessions held at the Universidad de Chile on March 18–19, 2026.
During this training space, both experts delivered the session “The European approach to microcredentials: key initiatives and lessons learned,” presenting reference frameworks, regulatory approaches, and implementation experiences developed in Europe. These contributions provide relevant technical insights to support the adoption of microcredentials in higher education institutions.
The sessions included five training activities delivered by partners of the international consortium, with participation from experts from Spain, Italy, Chile, Mexico, and Guatemala. Topics addressed included quality assurance, institutional alignment, and strategies for the progressive integration of microcredentials into academic offerings.
