The EcoCredGT Project will take part in the 4th Edition of the Educational Innovation Week and Bonaventurian Academic Training, organized by Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali from August 25 to 29, 2025. Representing the project, Dr. Carlos Alario Hoyos from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid will participate, sharing insights on the impact of digital micro-credentials on employability and on the transformation of education and vocational training.

Event Context
The Educational Innovation Week, organized by Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali, has become a highly relevant academic space in Latin America. Its objective is to foster dialogue on contemporary educational challenges, the integration of artificial intelligence, and the opportunities brought by digital transformation in teaching and learning.
In this fourth edition, the program includes keynote lectures, hands-on workshops, and international panels aimed at promoting pedagogical innovation and curricular modernization.
ECOCredGT Project Participation
Dr. Carlos Alario Hoyos, project partner representing ECOCredGT and Deputy Director of the UNESCO Chair of Scalable Digital Education for All at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, will take part in the 4th Educational Innovation Week and Bonaventurian Academic Training with a high-level academic agenda.

His participation includes sessions designed for university leaders, where he will offer strategic reflections on the role of micro-credentials in education and professional training; a practical workshop focused on the use of emerging technologies applied to teaching; and an international discussion panel that will address the impact of technological innovation on higher education curricula.
Dr. Alario’s presence in these activities reflects the relevance of EcoCredGT in the international academic debate, positioning the project as a reference in the advancement of micro-credentials and digital transformation in the region.
